Dr. Alex Micek and Dr. Mike Adney
At Sport Horse Chiropractic, we do not treat specific conditions, ailments, or symptoms but prefer to focus on ensuring that you and your animals are moving and functioning optimally. In many cases, the chiropractic adjustments resolve the issues that you and your animals may be experiencing. If treatment of specific conditions, ailments, or symptoms is what you are looking for, please consult with your veterinarian.
The purpose of Chiropractic is to ensure that the horse’s nervous system can control the animal as it was designed to do. Chiropractic removes any obstructions or interference to the nervous system to allow this to happen. It’s all about restoring and optimizing brain-to-body communication. Sometimes, due to abnormal joint motion, the brain is unable to accurately determine the position of certain joints, and therefore cannot accurately determine the position of certain body parts, such as its feet. This is a big reason why, many times, issues such as tripping, get resolved with chiropractic care.
Our work is known for restoring proper joint motion, decreasing inflammation and pain, and optimizing performance for the equine, canine, human, and exotic animal client.
